Fix problem with Internet Security pillar being grayed out in Norton main window
To fix this problem, chat with Norton Support or add and enable the Norton browser extensions on your web browsers.

Depending on your browser, select one of the following.

Start the Microsoft Edge browser.

On the top-right corner, click , and select .

In the Extensions window, click .

In the Store window, type Norton in the Search box and click on from the results.

After the extension is installed, click .

In the You have a new extension window, click .
Follow the same steps to install the Norton Password Manager extension.

Navigate to the Browsing Protection page.

In the Browsing Protection page, under Norton Security Toolbar, click .

In the extensions pop-up, click .

After enabling Norton Security Toolbar, enable the Norton Safe Search, Norton Home Page, and Norton Password Manager extensions for your browser.

If the Internet Explorer Protection Alert notification appears when you launch Internet Explorer, click . Follow the on-screen instructions to install the extensions.

Navigate to the Browsing Protection page.

In the Browsing Protection page, under Norton Safe Web, click on .

In the extensions pop-up that appears, click and then click .

To enable all the Norton extensions in Google Chrome, click and follow the on-screen instructions.

In the Browsing Protection page, under Norton Safe Web, click .

To enable all the Norton extensions in Mozilla Firefox, click and follow the on-screen instructions.
