Fix problem with Internet Security pillar being grayed out in Norton main window

Start the Microsoft Edge browser.

On the top-right corner, click More, and select Extensions.

In the Extensions window, click Get extensions from the Store.

In the Store window, type Norton in the Search box and click on Norton Safe Web from the results.

Click Install.

After the extension is installed, click Launch.

In the You have a new extension window, click Turn it on.

Follow the same steps to install the Norton Password Manager extension.

Navigate to the Browsing Protection page.

In the Browsing Protection page, under Norton Security Toolbar, click Enable.

In the extensions pop-up, click Add Extension.

After enabling Norton Security Toolbar, enable the Norton Safe Search, Norton Home Page, and Norton Password Manager extensions for your browser.

If the Internet Explorer Protection Alert notification appears when you launch Internet Explorer, click Install Now. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the extensions.

Navigate to the Browsing Protection page.

In the Browsing Protection page, under Norton Safe Web, click on Click to Add.

In the extensions pop-up that appears, click Add to Chrome and then click Add extension.

To enable all the Norton extensions in Google Chrome, click Add All Norton Extensions and follow the on-screen instructions.

Navigate to the Browsing Protection page.

In the Browsing Protection page, under Norton Safe Web, click Enable.

In the extensions pop-up that appears, click Allow and then click Add.

To enable all the Norton extensions in Mozilla Firefox, click Enable All Norton Extensions and follow the on-screen instructions.
