Message: "Unable to Activate: This Norton Core is registered to another account. Please log into that account..(-1027)"

This error can happen if your Norton Core Secure Wi-Fi router is already registered to another Norton account. Make sure that you sign in using the same email address that you used to purchase Norton Core from Norton Online Store.

If the problem persists, perform a factory reset.

If you have reinstalled the Norton Core app on your mobile device, you do not need to go through the setup again. Launch the Norton Core app, and sign in using the same Norton account that you used before to set up Norton Core.

Factory reset using the reset button

  1. Make sure that the Norton Core router is plugged in and has power.

  2. Locate the reset button underneath your Norton Core router.

    The reset button is the left-most button marked with a rounded arrow.

  3. Press and hold the reset button for 10 seconds and then release it.
