On the My Devices page, each device shows a short status and a colored icon.
- Protected (green): When a device shows as Protected, Norton is installed and actively protecting it, and you do not need to take any action.
- Not protected (orange): If a device shows as Not protected, Norton is not currently protecting it, often because the subscription expired or its license was removed; use the Renew or Subscribe option in the message or reinstall Norton from your active plan on that device.
If the device status does not change after you renew your plan or reinstall Norton on a device:
- Ensure the device is turned ON, connected to the internet, and the Norton product is open.
- If My Devices shows the wrong status while data is still syncing, wait a few minutes and refresh the page, and if the Norton product on the device shows Protected, your device is secure, and you can ignore the alert.
- If the issue persists, contact Norton Support.
