View or refresh house rules

Your children can view the house rules that you set. This helps them be aware of the Internet activities that they are allowed to perform. Your child can also request that you grant permission to perform specific Internet activities.

Norton Family website

  1. Sign in to your account.

  2. Select a child whose house rule you want to see.

  3. Under each House Rule tile, find an overview of the rules that you have set.

  4. To know more about a house rule, click under each tile.

Windows

  1. Log on to the child's computer.

  2. In the notification area, at the far right of the taskbar, click the Norton Family icon.

  3. To open the House Rules window, click View My House Rules.

  4. Read the house rules that are set for this device.

  5. Click OK.

  6. Click Update House Rules to get the latest rules.

Android

  1. Open Norton Family App in Child mode.

  2. Tap the avatar of your child and then tap House Rules.

  3. Read the house rules that are set for this device. Tap a rule to learn more about that.

  4. To get the latest house rules, pull down anywhere on the house rules area.

iOS

  1. Open Norton Family parental control.

  2. To view the house rules, tap the menu icon in the top-right corner of the screen, and then tap My House Rules.

  3. Read the house rules that are set for this device.

  4. Tap the refresh icon to get your latest house rules.
