Payment options for Norton Swedish customers

When you place your Order through our Online Store https://se.norton.com/ we offer Credit Card, Debit Card, PayPal and Direct Debit as payment option.

Orders paid through Credit Card, Debit Card and PayPal are usually instantly authorized, but it may take up to 3 days for the payment to be processed and the Order transaction to complete.

Credit card EU transactions

Most Banks in Sweden have the EU Transaction Option Disabled which may cause issues during the automatic renewal of your subscription or when you update your billing profile. You will need to contact your Credit Card Provider to enable/open the Credit Card for EU Transaction. Afterwards you can use the card to update your billing profile.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.

You may see payment authorizations on your bank account related to transactions you submitted on the Norton Online Store. Banks often place a hold on this amount until the authorization is settled or drops off. Typically, banks remove the authorization for transactions not settled within 3 business days, however, this can vary depending on your bank. If you have further questions about the authorization, we recommend contacting your financial institution.

If you pay with PayPal, fill in the necessary billing information and click Next to continue. Once you have reviewed your order, you will be redirected to the PayPal website to complete the payment.

If you want to pay with Klarna Bank Account, just fill in the billing information and click on "Next" to continue. Once you have reviewed your order, you will be redirected to the Klarna Bank Account website to complete the payment.

As of 7th of July 2021, we are offering the Online Payment Klarna Pay Now for our Swedish Customers through our Online Store.

With Klarna Pay Now you can transfer money directly from your bank account to ours. When “Pay Now” is selected in the payment window, you can select your own bank. You will then be directed to your own banks flow, where you will need to confirm the payment, after which the money is transferred. As Klarna Pay Now is a bank transfer the amount is automatically captured, as the money is transferred immediately.

After the Order is placed, Member Services and Support will be able to view the Payment Status of successfully completed Orders. Klarna Now Payment option is only available for our Online experience, Member Services and Support cannot place orders for you.

Should you have placed an Order using Klarna Pay Now but not received the Order Confirmation after 72 hours you can contact Klarna Support directly to confirm on the Payment status.

Automatically renewing subscriptions

Most of our services are offered as automatically renewing subscriptions to help you avoid lapses in the service. With an automatically renewing subscription, you have continuous access to your service without having to worry about expiration dates.

A pre-billing notification email will be sent to the email you used to place your order 50 days before your subscription expires. The Email will provide information about the date when your Subscription is due to renew, the date when you will be charged for the subscription renewal, the Amount of Renewal fee as well as the confirming the payment method for the renewal. Unless the billing profile was updated, we charge the payment method used when the Subscription was originally purchased. The payment method is charged up to 35 days before your subscription is due to renew to ensure you have continuous services.

You can cancel the subscription at any time before the day on which you are due to be charged. If you have already been charged and want to cancel your contract and request a refund, please contact Member Services & Support.
