View and respond to Device Security alerts

From the home screen, launch the Norton 360 app.
-
If you see the Security option in the Norton 360 app main screen, then tap Security or else go to step 3.

Tap Device Security.
-
Depending on your Device Security alert shown below, follow the steps to resolve the Device Security alert accordingly.
Not all Device Security alerts mentioned below are available on all Android devices.
Fix USB Debugging enabled

In the USB Debugging enabled alert, tap Fix Now.

In the Developer options screen, next to USB debugging, move the slider to turn it off.
Fix Unknown Sources enabled
-
In the Unknown Sources enabled alert, tap Fix Now.

In the Install unknown apps screen, next to Allow from this source, move the slider to turn it off.
Fix Lock screen not set

In the Lock screen not set alert, tap Fix Now.

In the Unlock selection or Choose screen lock screen, tap your preferred screen lock option and then follow the on-screen instructions.
For better protection, we recommend that you set up your screen lock type and choose from a Password, PIN, or Pattern option.
Fix Fingerprint Lock not set

In the Fingerprint Lock not set alert, tap Fix Now.

If prompted, you need to enter your device pin, if you have already set a lock for your device.

In the Choose screen lock screen, tap your preferred screen lock option, and then follow the on-screen instructions.
View the Device Security report card

From the Home screen, launch the Norton 360 app.

At the bottom of the Norton 360 app main screen, tap and pull up the Your Protection Report option.

Under the Device Security section, you can view the number of operating system risks that Norton 360 has detected.
I have an iOS device

Operating system upgrade
Your Norton 360 app detects and alerts you if your device's operating system is out of date and provides steps to update your operating system to the latest version.
Operating system updates may include important security patches which contain most up-to-date protection. Ensure that you have the latest version of the operating system installed on your device.

Passcode detection
Your Norton 360 app alerts you if you have not set a passcode for your device to prevent unauthorized access to your personal information.
View and respond to Device Security alerts

From the Home screen, launch the Norton 360 app.

Tap Security and then tap Device Security.

Depending on your Device Security alert shown below, follow the steps to resolve the Device Security alert accordingly.
Fix passcode not detected alert
For better protection, we recommend that you set up a passcode for your device.
In the No Passcode Detected alert, do one of the following:

Tap Fix Now, view the steps to resolve the issue, and then tap Open Settings > Face ID and Passcode > Turn Passcode On > Set and Confirm your passcode.

Tap Ignore to resolve the issue later. To view the alert again, tap and pull up the Ignored Risks option at the bottom of the Device Security screen.
Fix OS out of date alert
In the OS Out of Date alert, do one of the following:

Tap Fix Now, view the steps to resolve the issue, and then tap Open Settings > General > Software Update > Download and Install.

Tap Ignore to resolve the issue later. To view the alert again, tap and pull up the Ignored Risks option at the bottom of the Device Security screen.
View the Device Security report card

From the Home screen, launch the Norton 360 app.

At the bottom of the Norton 360 app main screen, tap and pull up the Your Protection Report option.

Under the Device Security section, you can view the number of operating system risks that Norton 360 has detected.
