Norton Password Manager helps you manage your passwords and provides additional security while you perform online transactions. You can use the various features in Password Manager to manage your personal data, such as addresses, date of birth, and credit card information.
You can turn on or turn off Norton Password Manager from the Extensions or Add-ons page in your browser.
Turning off Norton Password Manager is not recommended.
Norton Password Manager browser extension is supported in the following browsers:
Google Chrome (on Windows, macOS)
Microsoft Edge (on Windows, macOS)
Mozilla Firefox (on Windows, macOS)
Apple Safari 11 or later (macOS)
Norton Private Browser (on Windows, macOS)
To enable or disable Norton Password Manager, depending on your browser, choose one of the following:
Start Google Chrome.
In the top-right corner, click the Customize and control Google Chrome icon, and then click Settings.
In the Settings option, click Extensions.
In the Extensions page, next to Norton Password Manager, move the slider to enable or disable the extension.
Restart Google Chrome
Start Mozilla Firefox.
In the top-right corner, click the Open menu icon, and click Add-ons.
On the Extensions tab, click Norton Password Manager.
If Norton Password Manager shows as disabled, move the slider to enable or disable the extension.
Restart Mozilla Firefox.
Start Microsoft Edge.
In the top-right corner, click the Settings and More icon, and then click Extensions.
In the Extensions page, next to Norton Password Manager, move the slider to enable or disable the extension.
Restart Microsoft Edge.
Start Safari.
On the Safari menu, click Safari, and then click Preferences.
Click Extensions.
On the left pane, if Norton Password Manager is disabled, check or uncheck the Enabled box.
