Fix connectivity problems if nothing happens when you connect to Norton Secure VPN on iPhone or iPad

When you turn on Norton Secure VPN within the app, make sure that VPN in your device's settings is also turned on. If the problem persists even after turning on the VPN, uninstall and reinstall Norton Secure VPN.

STEP 1

Configure VPN settings

  1. From the Home screen, launch Settings.

  2. Go to General > VPN settings.

  3. Under Personal VPN, check if Secure VPN is listed and selected. If the status shows 'Not Connected', tap the status indicator to connect.

If the problem persists or if Secure VPN is not listed, go to step 2 to uninstall and reinstall Norton Secure VPN.

STEP 2

Uninstall Norton Secure VPN

  1. On the Home screen, tap and hold on the Norton Secure VPN icon until it jiggles.

  2. In the top-left corner of the app icon, tap X.

  3. Tap Delete to confirm.

STEP 3

Reinstall Norton Secure VPN

  1. From the Home screen, launch App Store.

  2. In the search box, type the following:

    Norton Secure VPN

  3. From the search results, select Norton Secure VPN.

  4. Tap Free, and then tap Install App.

If you see a prompt to authenticate, type your Apple account password.
