Create your Norton Privacy Manager password and Sudo identity on your iOS device

The first time you launch Norton Privacy Manager you are prompted to sign into your Norton account to create a password and primary Sudo identity. These let you use the app to browse, call, text, and email without exposing your personal information. Before you set up the Norton Privacy Manager app, ensure that your mobile device runs on iOS (11.0 or higher).

Set up Norton Privacy Manager on iOS

  1. When you launch the Norton Privacy Manager app for the first time, you are taken to the License Agreement page.

  2. On the License Agreement page, move the sliders to accept the Norton License Agreement and the Norton Mobile Privacy Policy, then tap Continue.

  3. Tap Sign In or Create Account.

  4. Do one of the following:

    • If you have a Norton account, tap the Sign In tab and follow the on-screen instructions to log in to your Norton account.

    • If you do not have a Norton account, tap the Create an Account tab and follow the on-screen instructions to create a new Norton account.

  5. In the Verify your Phone Number screen, enter the verification code that you received by text, then tap Next.

  6. In the Create App Password screen, follow the on-screen instructions to create a unique password, then tap Next.

  7. Enter a password and tap Next.

Ensure that the password meets the following requirements:

    • Contains a minimum of one number

    • Contains a minimum of one symbol

    • Contains one uppercase and one lowercase letter

    • Contains a minimum of eight characters

  8. In the Re-enter your password screen, re-enter the password and tap Next.

Choosing a hint is recommended but optional.
