Respond to "Malicious Website detected" or "Unsafe Site" alert on Norton 360 mobile app

When Norton 360 app detects a malicious or dangerous website, it displays an alert indicating that the website may have threats that can compromise your personal information.

Alert provides you an option to bypass and visit the website in case you are sure of the website reputation.

Norton recommends that you do not visit the website unless you are sure that it is safe and use a cautious approach while browsing the website.

Depending on your device, do the following to bypass and allow access to the website:

  • Android device: In the alert message, tap Visit Anyway to access the website. To block the website, tap Don’t Visit.

  • iOS device: In the alert message, tap View Details, and then tap Allow Access to Site.

If you think Norton 360 app is blocking a legitimate website, you can submit a dispute.

Submit a dispute for the website for evaluation or review

  1. In the alert message, tap View Details.

  2. For an iOS device, tap View Full Report. For an Android device, skip to the next step.

  3. On the Safe Web page that appears, tap Click here to submit dispute.

  4. Fill in the required details and tap Submit. You will receive an email confirmation within 2 days once the website is validated.
