Fix problems updating Norton Mobile Security for iOS to the latest version

You may have problems updating Norton Mobile Security for iOS if your iPhone or iPad has an old iOS version. To fix this, update your device to the latest version of iOS.

STEP 1

Update iOS

  1. Make sure that you are connected to the Internet.

  2. On your iOS device, go to Settings > General, and then tap Software Update.

  3. Tap Download and Install.

  4. To continue, tap Install.

  5. If prompted, enter your passcode.

    If the problem persists, go to Step 2.

STEP 2

Turn off Web Protection

  1. From the Home screen, launch Norton Mobile Security for iOS.

  2. Tap Web Protection .

  3. Next to Web Protection, move the slider to Off.

STEP 3

Update Norton

  1. From the Home Screen, launch App Store.

  2. At the top of the screen, tap your profile icon.

  3. Next to Norton Mobile Security, tap Update.

  4. Wait for the app download to finish.
