Transfer your protection from one device to another device

Your subscription comes with a limited number of licenses to protect your various devices. Find out how many devices you can protect with your Norton subscription.

If you have used up your licenses,

• You can transfer a license from an unused device to allow installation on another device (or)
• You can purchase a product with more seats from norton.com/products and contact Member Support & Services to discuss your options.

Remove your existing device and transfer your license to another device

1. Sign in to your account.

2. On the top-right corner of the page, hover over My Account and click My Subscriptions.

3. Find the Norton plan you want to manage.

4. Under that plan, click Manage Devices (this link only appears if at least one device is using that plan).
    

5. In the pop-up window, choose the device that you no longer use, click the bin icon.

6. Click Remove to confirm.

7. To install Norton on a new device, click Download or Share.

8. If you are on the device you want to protect, select Agree & Download. If you are not on that device, click Send Download Link to Email or SMS the link to the new device.

9. Open the installer on the device and follow the on-screen steps.

10. Sign in when prompted to finish activating your Norton protection.

Tips

• Your product subscription begins when you complete the purchase. For example, if you have 100 days of subscription remaining and you uninstall the product from your old device and install it on the new device, your product will have 100 days remaining.
• Installing on a virtual machine will consume a license seat from your subscription.
