Fix problem with repeated prompt to sign in to Norton account while accessing Norton Password Manager vault

To resolve this problem, sign out and sign in to Norton Password Manager. If the problem persists, restart the computer.

If issue is seen on Norton product, then sign out and sign in to Norton Password Manager from Norton.

STEP 1

Sign out and sign in to Norton Password Manager from Norton

  1. Start Norton.

    If you see the My Norton window, next to Device Security, click Open.

  2. On the top-right corner of the main screen, click on your user name.

    The user name is displayed only if you have signed in with your Norton account credentials.

  3. In the Sign out dialog box, click OK.

  4. In the main Norton window, double-click on Internet Security, and then click Password Manager.

  5. In the Get started window, click Sign in.

  6. In the Sign In window, type in your Norton account credentials, and click Sign In.

  7. In the Vault Closed window, type your Norton Password Manager vault password, and click Open.

    If the problem persists, go to Step 2.

STEP 2

Restart your computer

  1. Exit all programs.

  2. Restart the computer.

If issue is seen on browser, then sign out and sign in to Norton Password Manager from the extension.

  1. Open your browser.

  2. Click Norton Password Manager extension icon on the top-right corner of the browser and click Close vault.

  3. In the Your vault is locked window, click Sign out.

  4. Click Norton Password Manager extension icon on the top-right corner of the browser and click Sign In.

  5. In the Sign In window, type in your Norton account credentials, and click Sign In.

    If the problem persists, go to Step 2.

STEP 2

Restart your computer

  1. Exit all programs.

  2. Restart the computer.
