Set up Norton Family on a parent device

Open the Play Store app and search for Norton Family parental control.

Select Norton Family parental control app and then tap Install.

Open the app once installed.

Read the Terms of Service and other policies, and then tap Continue to set up Norton Family.

Tap Parent Sign In.

If you do not have a Norton account, tap Create An Account and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the sign-up process.

On the Norton Family Setup screen, tap Continue.

In the Create Profile screen, type the child's name.

The name must not contain special characters such as &, #, or $.

Select the restriction level based on your child's age.

Norton Family applies house rules based on the restriction level that you choose.

Tap the camera icon to set a profile picture for your child.

You can add more children to your account after you complete the setup for the first child.

Tap Create.

If you are on the same Android device that your child uses, do one of the following:

• Tap Assign this device to Child and then tap Continue.

• Select Android phone or tablet and tap Next to download the app from Google Play.
  You can also send a download link by entering an email address and then opening the link on the device on which you want to install Norton Family.

Enter the activation code in the Parent app and click Activate.

On the child device, wait for a few minutes, verify if the correct account email id and child name are displayed, and tap Confirm & Continue.

Tap Done.

Go to App Store and search for the Norton Family Parental Control app.

Download and install the app.

Open the app once installed.

Tap Allow to receive notifications from Norton Family.

Read the License and Services Agreement and other policies and then tap Continue.

Sign in with your account credentials.

In the Create Profile screen, type the child's name.

The name must not contain special characters such as &, #, or $.

Select the restriction level based on your child's age.

Norton Family applies house rules based on the restriction level that you choose.

Tap the camera icon to set a profile picture for your child.

You can add more children to your account after you complete the setup for the first child.

Tap Create.

Select iPhone or iPad and tap Next.

Download the Norton Family iOS child app by scanning the QR code.

You can also send a download link by entering an email address and then opening the link on the device on which you want to install Norton Family.

Enter the activation code in the Parent app and tap Activate.

On the child device, wait for a few minutes, verify if the correct account email id and child name are displayed, and tap Confirm & Continue.

Tap Done.
