Video supervision is supported on Windows computer, Android phone and tablet, iPhone, and iPad.
Lists the videos your children watch online on their device, even letting you view a snippet of each video, so you know when you need to talk.
Norton Family monitors and records the video activities of your child on the following video-hosting websites when watched only on browsers and not in apps:
When your kids watch YouTube playlist in Chrome on Android phone or tablet, the address bar gets automatically hidden. In this case, Norton Family cannot monitor and report such individual playlist videos as separate activities. So, to get the best from Norton Family, ask your children to use Norton Family browser for the browsing activities on their mobile devices.
For video supervision to work properly, ensure that Norton Family extension is enabled on the browsers that your child uses to connect to the Internet.
You can use Norton website or Norton Family app for parents to view or update the house rules.
Sign in to your account.
Select the child for whom you want to set video supervision.
To start or stop Video supervision, move the On/Off switch to On or Off.
See the video-hosting sites that Norton Family monitors.
These sites are monitored only when accessed on browsers and not in apps.
Open Norton Family parental control app in Parent mode.
Tap the child whom you want to manage.
Go to the Rules tab.
Under Activities, tap Video supervision.
To start or stop Video supervision, tap the Off or On button.
If you are using Google account to sign in to Norton Family account, make sure that you sign out from your Google account in your browser after finishing the Norton Family setup.
