Resolve issue in receiving notification emails

If you are not receiving notification emails, use the information below to verify that your email address on file is correct. Also, ensure that your email address does not contain any double-byte characters. In languages such as Japanese, some characters are twice as wide as normal alphabetic characters and are known as double-byte characters. If you have created a Norton account with a double-byte email, you need to update the email address to start receiving notification emails.

Once you have verified your email address on file, make sure to check your email's spam/junk folders. If you locate any notification emails, mark them as 'not spam/junk'. This will prevent the emails returning to the spam/junk folder in the future. If you have received a welcome email but no notification emails, it is possible that we did not find anything critical to alert you.

If you are unable to locate any notification emails in your spam/junk folder, call us at customer support so we can investigate it.

  1. Sign in to Norton.

  2. Hover the mouse over your profile at the top-right corner.

  3. Click Personal Information.

  4. On the Email and Password row, verify your email address.

  5. If you wish to change your email address, click next to the current email address and do the following:

  6. Validate with your current password and then enter the new email address.

  7. Click Update Email.
