Message: "Unable to connect to cloud" when setting up Norton Core

To fix this problem, depending on your network setup and how the Norton Core router is connected to the Internet, do one of the following:

I have a gateway router that is configured in bridge mode

  1. If you have a gateway router that is configured in bridge mode, wait for 15 minutes.

  2. Start the Norton Core setup again.

I have a modem, or a gateway router that is not configured in bridge mode

  1. Turn off Norton Core.

  2. Restart your modem or the gateway router. Wait for 15 minutes.

  3. Turn on Norton Core router. Wait 5 more minutes for the Norton Core router to be ready to set up.

  4. Start the Norton Core setup again.
