Review the alert that you have received

If you received an alert, you can validate if you have initiated the activity or not. Depending on your response, we will review the situation and let you know what we find via phone or email. You can validate an alert right on the alert message that you received or by signing into your account.

  1. Sign in to your Norton.

  2. Click ALERTS tab.

  3. On the alert that you want to validate, do one of the following:

    • Click Yes if you have initiated the activity.

      LifeLock sends you an email confirmation, and the alert is moved to the Archived tab.

    • Click No if you did not initiate the activity.

      LifeLock investigates this situation, and the alert is moved to the Disputed tab.

If you are not sure if you initiated the activity with the company on your alert, here are a couple resources to help determine.

If you do not see the options to validate, you received a Notification. A notification informs you of information we have found and provides you with additional education.
