Turning on or turning off Remote Management

When the Remote Management option is turned on, your Norton product sends product activity details to your Norton account. Your account owner uses this information to fix some security issues. By default, the Remote Management option is turned off.

To turn on or turn off Remote Management on Windows

  1. In the Norton product main window, click Settings.

  2. In the Settings window, under Detailed Settings, click Administrative Settings.

  3. In the Remote Management row, do one of the following:

    • To turn on Remote Management, move the On/Off switch to the left to the On position.

    • To turn off Remote Management, move the On/Off switch to the right to the Off position.

To turn on or turn off Remote Management on Mac

  1. In the Norton product main window, click Advanced.

  2. On the left pane, click Product Settings.

  3. In the Remote Management row, do one of the following:

    • To turn on Remote Management, move the switch to the On position.

    • To turn off Remote Management, move the switch to the Off position.
