Accepting an invite from an account owner

To be protected from online threats, you need to accept the invitation that your account owner has sent you. You need to open the email invite from the device on which you want to install the product. The invite that you received is valid only for 10 days. After which, the Install Norton link in the invitation expires. You need to request your account owner to re-send the invitation to get Norton security product on your device.

Your device should be connected to the Internet to download and install the product. Ensure that parental and firewall settings are not blocking the Internet connection.

To accept and install the Norton product on your device

  1. Open the invite email that you received.

    If you cannot find the email in your Inbox, check your Spam folder.

  2. Click the Install Norton link.

    For mobile devices, you will be directed to the appropriate App Store. For Windows and Mac, the Norton product gets downloaded.

  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to proceed with the installation. The installation usually takes less than a minute.
