Fix problems configuring the backup set when signing in to Norton Online Backup with Google Chrome

This alert appears in Google Chrome when the webpage that you access displays content from both secure (HTTPS) and insecure (HTTP) channels.

Although the Norton Online Backup website is accessed over an https connection, some of the content on the page is displayed from the HTTP locations. For more information, read the Google Support article.

To fix this problem, you can configure Google Chrome to load all the content from the Norton Online Backup website.

Enable the script for Norton Online Backup

  1. Start the Google Chrome browser.

  2. Go to the Norton Online Backup website.

  3. On the top right corner of the browser, in the address bar, click the Shield icon.

  4. In the This page includes script from unauthenticated sources dialog box, click Load unsafe script.

  5. Norton Online Backup webpage is refreshed, and the content is reloaded.

    If you are on the Settings page, press the F5 key to manually refresh the webpage .
