What is Smart Defrag?

The Smart Defrag feature allows you to schedule a defragmentation check to occur automatically at a time you specify through the Smart Defrag settings. If required, the defragmentation process will take place when your system is idle.

Smart Defrag is turned Off by default.

To turn on Smart Defrag, go to Performance > Defragment disk > Hard Drives. Select the ON/OFF check box under the Smart Defrag column to turn on or turn off this option.
