Uninstall Norton Utilities

  1. Click the Start button, and then click Control Panel.

  2. Depending on your version of Windows, do one of the following:

    • In Windows 7 or Vista, click Uninstall a Program.

    • In Windows XP, double-click Add or Remove Programs.

  3. In the list of currently installed programs, click Norton Utilities, and then click Remove or Uninstall.

  4. Click Yes to confirm.

  5. If you want to retain your registry backups and ignore lists, check Retain backup and custom ignore list files.

  6. Click OK.

  7. Follow the on-screen instructions to uninstall Norton Utilities.

  8. When the uninstall is complete, exit all the programs and restart the computer.
