Confirm your online purchase order

If you have placed an order to purchase your Norton subscription online, you must confirm your order in your Norton account. You can download the Norton service and manage your subscription only after you confirm your order.

A simple way to check if you have confirmed your order is to look at the service icon in the Subscriptions page. If you have not confirmed your order, the icon appears faded. In addition, you can see the order details appearing in the Subscriptions page. After you confirm the order, the order details appear in the Order Details page.

Your Norton account is automatically created when you place your online order. You can use your login credentials to sign in to your Norton account and confirm your purchase. Your Norton subscription is automatically registered to your Norton account.

However, if you did not place an order, you can choose to cancel the order.

All online orders do not require confirmation. If you provided incorrect password or billing information during the subscription purchase, you have to confirm your order.

Confirm your online purchase order

  1. Sign in to your Norton account.

  2. Click Confirm Now in the banner that appears.

  3. In the Norton Order Confirmation page, under Please Confirm Your Order, select Yes, I placed this order and type the product serial number.

    You can find the product serial number in the order confirmation email you received from Norton.

  4. Click Confirm Order

    If you want to cancel the order, select No, I did not place this order, and click Decline Order.

  5. Follow the on-screen instructions.
