Deactivate Intel Anti-Theft

When you are not sure about how often you use your computer, you can deactivate Intel Anti-Theft. If you deactivate Intel Anti-Theft, your computer does not disable by itself even if you do not use your computer for a long time.

Deactivate Intel Anti-Theft

  1. Download the Intel Anti-Theft Recovery Tool on the computer that has the Intel Anti-Theft feature enabled.

  2. Right-click on ATRecovery.msi and click Install.

  3. Read the License Agreement and enable the checkbox to accept the License Agreement and click Install.

  4. Click Finish when the installation is complete.

  5. The Intel Anti-Theft Recovery Tool should automatically launch and check if the computer has the Intel Anti-Theft feature enabled.

  6. Click the Unenroll AT button to begin the process of deactivating the Intel Anti-Theft feature and then click Yes, Unenroll AT.

  7. Once the process is finished, you should see a Success!screen informing that the Intel Anti-Theft feature has been successfully deactivated. Click Continue to continue.

  8. Click Yes to remove the Intel Anti-Theft recovery tool.
