Norton from Symantec

Error: "3039,65545" appears on my Norton product

STEP 1

Restart the computer

  1. Exit all the programs.

  2. Restart the computer.

  3. If the problem persists, go to Step 2.

STEP 2

Run LiveUpdate

  1. Start your Norton product.

  2. Depending on your Norton product, do one of the following:

    • For Norton AntiVirus or Norton Internet Security: In the main window, click LiveUpdate.

    • For Norton 360: In the main window, click Tasks, and then click Run LiveUpdate.

    • For Norton Security: Click Security, and then click LiveUpdate.

  3. When Norton LiveUpdate is finished, click OK or Close.

  4. Run LiveUpdate until you see the message, "Your Norton product has the latest protection updates."

  5. Exit all the programs, and restart the computer.

STEP 3

Run a Full System Scan

  1. Start your Norton product.

  2. Depending on your Norton product, do one of the following:

    • For Norton AntiVirus or Norton Internet Security: Click Scan Now.

    • For Norton 360: Click Tasks and then click Run Scans.

    • For Norton Security: Click Security and then click Run Scans.

  3. In the Scans window, select Full System Scan and click Go.

  4. When the scan is finished, click Close or Finish.
