Norton Identity Safe does not autofill the web forms

If the Identity Safe does not autofill the web form in a specific website, report it through Norton Feedback.

Certain websites, primarily banking sites display only the login field or the user name field in the webpage. After you submit the user name, it navigates to the second webpage which contains the password field or both the user name and password fields. These sites are categorized as split page login-based websites. If you want to configure Identity Safe for a split page login, go to Step 2.

These steps are for the current version of the Norton products. If you have an older version or if you do not know your product version, go to Norton Update Center.

Configure Identity Safe for a split page login

You can use Identity Safe to save your login details only if the website uses a web-based form for the split page login. To manually add login details for a split page login, go to Step 2.

  1. Open the website for which you want to save your login.

  2. If the vault is closed, click the Vault is closed option on the web browser.

In Google Chrome, the Norton Toolbar does not appear on a New Tab or Summary page. It appears only on HTML-based webpages.

  3. In the Vault Closed window, type the password and click Open.

  4. Type your login credentials for the website and click Login or Sign in.

  5. The login credentials are automatically saved to the vault.

If you do not want to save the login credentials, click Options and select Ignore this site.
