Message: "Your Norton purchase is being processed and will be completed within approximately 4-8 hours..." when I purchase a product from Norton Online Store

After placing an order on the Norton Online Store, you may have received a message similar to the following:

"Thank you for your order!

Your Norton purchase is being processed and will be completed within approximately 4-8 hours. You will receive an email confirmation when your order is complete"

You may also receive an email with the same message.

This message indicates that we cannot immediately process your order as expected, but we will continue to process your order, and when it is completed, we will notify you.
