How to configure Norton Mobile Security when changing your SIM card or mobile carrier

You can continue using Norton Mobile Security with your new mobile carrier as long as your subscription is valid.

If you have set up the Anti-Theft feature in Norton Mobile Security, and enabled SIM Card Lock option, your device is locked after you replace the SIM card from your new mobile carrier. You can unlock the device by typing your Anti-Theft password.

Alternatively, you can disable the SIM Card Lock feature before replacing the SIM card from your new mobile carrier.

SIM Card Lock feature is available for Android devices only and does not work with dual-SIM devices.

Disable SIM Card Lock

  1. From the home screen, launch the Norton Mobile Security app.

  2. In the top-left corner, tap the menu icon , and then tap App Settings.

  3. In the Anti-Theft section, next to SIM Card Lock, move the slider to turn it off.

After you replace the SIM card and restart the device, repeat line 1 to 3 to enable 'SIM Card Lock' again.
