If you cannot find the Norton Toolbar make sure that you have the latest version of the browser, and the latest version of your Norton product.
Norton Toolbar is installed along with a Norton product like Norton Internet Security, Norton 360, or Norton Identity Safe. Norton Toolbar cannot be downloaded separately as an add-on or extension on your browser. Make sure that you have the latest Norton product installed, and you have the plug-in enabled in your browser.
You can get the latest version of your Norton product from Norton Update Center. If your Norton product came from your service provider, check with your service provider to make sure that you have the latest version.
Norton Toolbar does not work on 64-bit version of Internet Explorer.
Start Internet Explorer.
Click, and then click .
In the list of currently loaded Add-ons, click.
If the status of Norton Toolbar is shown as Disabled, click .
In the list of currently loaded Add-ons, check the status ofand .
If the status is shown as Disabled, click .
Restart Internet Explorer.
Depending on your version of Windows, do one of the following:
In Windows 8/7/Vista: On the Firefox menu, click .
In Windows XP: On the Tools menu, click .
On the Extensions tab, click the .
If the Norton Toolbar is grayed out, click.
Norton Toolbar does not appear on New Tab or Summary page, it appears only on HTML-based webpages.
Start Google Chrome.
On the top-right corner, click theicon and click .
In the Settings page, under Chrome, click the tab.
In the Extensions page, next to Norton Identity Protection, check the box.
Restart Google Chrome.
