Uninstalling a Norton service from a device

You can uninstall Norton from your managed devices. If you use an older version of Norton, you cannot uninstall the service remotely from your Norton account until you upgrade to the latest available version.

After you uninstall a Norton service from your device, you can use the same product key to install the Norton service on another device. You can install and use the service on any device only for the number of subscription days remaining for your product. For example, you have 100 days of subscription remaining and you uninstall the service from your device. In this case, you can install the same service on any device using the same product key and use the service for 100 days.

Ensure that your device is connected to the Internet when you attempt to uninstall a Norton service using your Norton account.

If your device is not connected to the Internet, Norton completes the uninstall process when the device connects to the Internet.
