Norton Safe Web protects you when you browse, search, or shop online using Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge and Apple Safari browsers. It analyzes the security level of websites that you visit and shows if the websites are free from threats.
If you see Message: "Browsing at Risk" displayed in the Norton dashboard, the Norton Safe Web extension may not be installed or may be disabled in your default browser. To resolve this problem, click Fix Now in the Norton dashboard. You are redirected to the default browser extension store. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the Norton Safe Web extension.
To turn off or turn on Norton Safe Web extension, depending on your browser, choose one of the following:
Start Google Chrome.
In the left pane, click Extensions.
In the Extensions page, next to Norton Safe Web, move the slider to enable or disable the extension.
Start Microsoft Edge.
In the Installed Extensions page, under Norton Safe Web, move the slider to enable or disable the extension.
Start Mozilla Firefox.
On the Extensions tab, check if Norton Safe Web is present under Enabled section.
Under Norton Safe Web, clickStart Mozilla Firefox.
On the Extensions tab, check if Norton Safe Web is present under Enabled section.
Under Norton Safe Web, clickStart Safari.
On the Safari menu, click Safari, and then click Preferences.
Click Extensions.
On the left pane, if Norton Safe Search is enabled, uncheck the Enabled box.
If Norton Safe Search is disabled, check the Enabled box.
