We're making your Norton 360 app easier to use and simpler to set up just the way you want. And you'll still have the same strong Norton cyber protection you expect, no action required.
We have improved the look and feel of the Norton 360 app, which includes:
A new bottom navigation with Home, Menu, Account, and Ask Genie.
A redesigned Home screen experience to find your frequently used features and useful shortcuts.
Protection areas are renamed into more human-friendly categories, such as Stay Safe Online, Stay on top of your money, Protect your identity, and Keep your devices healthy.
A new Trending Scams experience with information about recent scams.
Redesigned onboarding experience.
On your iOS device, launch the Apple App Store app, and search for the Norton 360 app.
When the installation finishes, tap Open.
Tap Get started and enter your email address.
Tap Continue and enter your code that was sent to your email address.
Tap Continue and enter your device passcode or tap Enable Face ID to access your Norton app quickly and securely.
Tap Run scan, and after the scan is complete, tap Explore protection plans.
Choose your protection plan, complete your purchase, and follow the on-screen instructions to complete setting up the protection features for your device.
Follow the steps below to opt in or switch to the new Norton experience.
Open Norton 360.
On the main Norton 360 app screen, under the Get early access to the new Norton experience card, tap Try now.
In the Welcome screen alert, you can tap Take a tour to know more about the new Norton experience.
At the top of the main Norton app home screen, you can view the current protection status of your Norton 360 app. When no action is needed, it displays a message such as Norton is keeping you safe. When something needs attention, it displays a message such as "Something important needs your attention."
Action cards highlight items that need attention, ordered by importance. To act on a card, tap the card, then follow the on-screen instructions. Action cards can be dismissed from the Home screen, and items can be revisited later using the bell icon.
The Quick Actions card lets you start the following common tasks from the Home screen.
Run scan – Tap Run scan to initiate Smart Scan and protect your device from security risks.
Turn on or off VPN – Use the slider to enable or disable Norton VPN to help protect your online privacy.
Check for scams – Tap Check for scams, and you can take a photo or upload a photo of a message, email, or ad to help you identify if it is a scam.
Block risky websites – You can use the slider to turn on or turn off Norton Safe Web, which helps you block risky websites before you visit them.
Check Wi-Fi safety – Tap Check Wi-Fi safety to scan the wireless network that your device is connected to and recommend solutions to problems it identifies.
In the Your Protection card, the new experience organizes features into four protection categories:
Stay Safe Online: Features that help protect you while browsing and using the internet.
Stay on top of your money: Features that help protect your financial information.
Protect your identity: Features that help protect your personal information and identity.
Keep your devices healthy: Features that help keep your device secure and running well.
To view the features in a category, tap the category on the Home screen.
The features available in each category are displayed based on your Norton 360 subscription.
Trending Scams displays information on scams currently affecting users, such as text message, email, and fake website scams. The information is updated regularly and can vary by region.
Trending Scams provides information for awareness. It does not replace the protection features in Norton 360.
Follow the steps below to opt out or switch back to the classic or old experience.
Open Norton 360.
Scroll down to the main Norton 360 app screen. Under the "What do you think of the new Norton experience" card, tap "Switch back".
Select the reason for switching back to the classic experience, and you can provide your feedback on the same and tap Done.
You can return to the new Norton experience at any time.
Follow the steps below to provide feedback about the new Norton experience.
Open Norton 360.
Scroll down to the main Norton 360 app screen. Under the "What do you think of the new Norton experience" card, tap Feedback.
Select the reason for switching back to the classic experience, and you can provide your feedback on the same and tap Done.
You can return to the new Norton experience at any time.
