This issue appears when Norton Driver Updater successfully completes updating an outdated driver but flags the driver as outdated in the next scan. Then, it offers the the same driver version as the updated version.
To resolve this issue, do the following:
Open Task Manager and go to Services tab. Find the Norton Driver Updater service and stop it.
Navigate to: C:\ProgramData\Norton\Driver Updater
Search and delete DUState.dat file.
Start the Driver Updater service [service name: Norton Driver Updater].
Run a scan in Norton Driver Updater and check the issue status.
