You may see the Error message "Well this is embarrassing… sorry we’ve run into a problem. Please try again later" when trying to Open the Norton Driver Updater app. To resolve the issue, you must first set Norton Driver Updater service startup type to Automatic and then restart your computer.
Press the Windows + R keys to open the Run dialog box.
In the Run dialog box, type in the following text and press Enter.
services.msc
In the Services console, locate and right-click Norton Driver Updater service, then select Properties.
Ensure the General tab is selected, then click the drop-down menu next to Startup type and select Automatic. Click Apply to confirm changes.
If the service stops running, click Start in the Service status section.
Restart your Windows device.
If the issue persists, proceed with the steps below to troubleshoot further.
