Undo the recent changes made by Norton Utilities Ultimate

With the Undo Center, you can reverse certain changes made by Norton Utilities Ultimate. For example, you can undo fixed broken registry keys or fixed shortcuts from the history. Norton Utilities Ultimate maintains a backup of change history, which helps you reverse the changes in the Undo center.

Browser data and system junk that are cleaned cannot be reversed.

Undo recent changes

  1. Open Norton Utilities Ultimate.

  2. On the main menu, click Help.

  3. In the Help window, click the Undo Center tab.

  4. Select the date the change was made and navigate to the action you want to reverse.

  5. Next to the action you want to reverse, click Undo.

    The selected action is now reversed.

By default, Norton Utilities Ultimate maintains the backup of the change history for the last month. You can change the period and choose the categories you want to be part of the backup.

Customize Undo center backup settings

  1. Open Norton Utilities Ultimate.

  2. On the main menu, click Settings.

  3. In the Settings window, navigate to General > Undo Center.

  4. Select the categories that you want to be part of the backup.

    Your options are:

    • Broken registry items

    • Broken shortcuts

    • Optimized programs

    • Simulated programs

  5. Under Delete backups, select an interval from the drop-down list.

    Your options are:

    • After 1 week

    • After 2 weeks

    • After 1 month

    • Never
