Restore file from a backup set on the Norton Backup Drive

To restore a file, you can right-click to select the files to restore in the Norton Backup Drive, and then click Restore to. You can restore your backed-up files to their original locations or custom locations.

Restore file from a backup set on the Norton Backup Drive

  1. In Windows Explorer, click Norton Backup Drive.

  2. Select the backup destination, and navigate to the backup set destination that contains the file that you backed up.

  3. Do one of the following:

    • Right-click to select the files to restore in Norton Backup Drive, and then click Restore.

      The files are restored to the original location by overwriting the existing files.

    • Right-click to select the files to restore in the Norton Backup Drive, and then click Restore to.

      You can choose to restore your files to the Original Location or to a New Location.

  4. Click OK.
