Delete a file from a backup set on the Norton Backup Drive

You can select and delete a file from a backup set on the Norton Backup Drive. Your Norton product does not back up the deleted file the next time you run a backup. You can also click the file to open and view the file content before you restore it.

Delete a file from a backup set on the Norton Backup Drive

  1. In Windows Explorer, click Norton Backup Drive.

  2. Select the backup destination, and navigate to the backup set destination that contains the file that you backed up.

  3. Do one of the following:

    • Right-click to select the files to delete, and then click Delete.

    • Select the file, and then press Delete.
