Error "The product key entered is not valid for this product. (-2012)"

To fix this error, clear the app data and cache for the Norton Mobile Security app, and activate it. If the problem persists, uninstall and reinstall the Norton Mobile Security app.

STEP 1

Clear the app data and cache for Norton Mobile Security

  1. Go to Settings > Apps or Applications.

  2. In the list of applications, tap Norton Mobile Security.

  3. Tap Clear Data and Clear Cache.

    For Android 6.0 and later, you may need to tap Storage in the App Info screen to view the Clear Data and Clear Cache options.

  4. Exit Settings.

STEP 2

Activate Norton Mobile Security

  1. Launch Norton Mobile Security.

  2. In the top-left corner, tap the menu icon , and then tap Sign In.

  3. Type your Norton account email address and password, and then tap Sign In.
