Error: "A network error occurred while logging in (NET7)" when I sign in to Norton WiFi Privacy

This problem can happen if the connection to Norton WiFi Privacy VPN is blocked by a firewall.

If you see this message on a home computer, make sure that you allow full access to Norton WiFi Privacy in your firewall settings. For more information on how to allow access to an application, refer to the help documentation of your security or firewall program.

If you see this message on a work computer, the access to Norton WiFi Privacy might be blocked at network or router level. You may not be able to connect to Norton WiFi Privacy VPN until the access to the VPN is allowed.
