Message: "Connection failed: We are unable to connect to Norton servers" when I activate Norton Core

This problem can occur if Norton Core router fails to connect to the Internet. To fix this problem, check your Internet connection.

Check your Internet connection

  1. Make sure that you have connected the WAN port of the Norton Core router to your modem with the ethernet cable.

    You can easily find the WAN port located at the bottom of the Norton Core router with a globe icon .

    If you use a single device as modem router to connect to the Internet, connect the WAN port of the Norton Core router to any LAN port of your modem router.

  2. Restart your modem and wait for the modem to connect to the Internet gateway.
