Improve Norton Core network speed by changing Network Inspection settings

Norton Core's Network Inspection checks for malicious content using deep packet inspection (DPI) technology. It scans network data and blocks unknown protocols, spam, malicious content, and other threats. This may reduce your wireless network speed.

By default, Network Inspection is set to Default. This is the recommended setting for a good balance of security and performance. You can improve network speed by setting Network Inspection to Off, which improves performance by temporarily turning off Network Inspection scans.

You can turn off Network Inspection to perform a speed test for your network. However, make sure that this setting is changed to Default or Advanced immediately after performing the test.
