Message

Norton provides you a real-time messaging service that lets you view messages based on your Norton service. You can use the Message link on your Norton product main window to view the messages. The messages you receive may include:

  • Information related to your Norton account

  • Availability of new updates

  • Information related to your subscription

  • Subscription expiry reminders

  • Latest threat information

  • Information on how to stay protected from new threats

  • Special offers and promotions

Norton displays the unread messages count next to the Message link on the main window. In some cases, Norton notifies you with an alert to view messages. You receive messages only when you are connected to the Internet.

View messages:

  1. Open your Norton product.

  2. In the main window, click Message.

  3. In the Message window, click the relevant message.

Delete messages:

  1. Open your Norton product.

  2. In the main window, click Message.

  3. In the Message window, select the relevant messages and click the delete icon. To delete multiple messages, you can use Shift-click or Command-click to select multiple messages and click the delete icon.
