View the total Norton Core bandwidth you use

Norton Core helps you monitor the total data usage of all the connected devices in your protected network.

Even if you had subscribed for an unlimited broadband plan, your internet service provider (ISP) may have set a fair usage plan (FUP) for your subscription. With FUP, there is a specific daily or monthly limit that is set for high-speed network. Once your total data usage exceeds this limit, your ISP moves you to a slower speed network.

Norton Core helps you monitor the devices and users that consume the maximum bandwidth and take appropriate action. You can choose to pause internet for the devices that consume more data or set the daily time limits for those users.

By default, Norton Core displays the total data used for the current day. However, you can view the total data usage for the current day, previous day, previous week, or for the previous month.

View the total data usage

  1. Launch the Norton Core app.

  2. On the top-left corner, tap the menu icon.

  3. Tap Network.

  4. In the Network screen, under Bandwidth Consumption, tap the current day's bandwidth consumption.

  5. In the Bandwidth Consumption screen, the total data usage for the current day appears at the top.

    • To view the total data usage for the previous day, week, or month, tap Today and select the appropriate option.

    • To view data usage by users, tap People.

    • To view data usage by devices, tap Devices.
