My Norton product for Mac status shows 'Computer Protection at Risk' in Norton Management and nothing happens when I click 'Fix Now'

Symantec is aware of this problem and a fix is in progress. However, this problem does not affect the functionality of your Norton product in any ways.

In the mean time, to fix this problem, remove your device from your account and activate it again.

STEP 1

Delete your device

  1. Sign In to Norton.

  2. In the Devices page, select your Mac from the list of devices, click .

  3. Click Delete Device.

  4. In the Remove Device confirmation window, click Remove.

    On your Mac, an alert is displayed informing that your device is removed from your account and the product shows the status "You Are Not Protected". Go to Step 2 to activate your Norton product again.

STEP 2

Activate your Norton product

  1. Start your Norton product.

  2. In the Norton product window, click Activate Now.

  3. When you are prompted to sign in to your Norton account, enter your email address and password, and then click Sign In.

  4. Click Next to continue.

    Your Norton product is now activated and displays the correct subscription. Also, you can now click Fix Now in the Norton Management portal to remotely fix the problems with your Norton product.
