Norton Management portal shows multiple products associated with my device after I update my Norton product for Mac

Symantec is aware of this problem and a fix is in progress. However, this problem does not affect the functionality of your Norton product in any ways.

In the mean time, to fix this problem, remove your device from your account and activate it again.

STEP 1

Delete your device

  1. Sign In to Norton.

  2. In the Devices page, select your Mac from the list of devices, click .

  3. Click Delete Device.

  4. In the Remove Device confirmation window, click Remove.

    On your Mac, an alert is displayed informing that your device is removed from your account and the product shows the status "You Are Not Protected". Go to Step 2 to activate your Norton product again.

STEP 2

Activate your Norton product

  1. Start your Norton product.

  2. In the Norton product window, click Activate Now.

  3. When you are prompted to sign in to your Norton account, enter your email address and password, and then click Sign In.

  4. Click Next to continue.

    Your Norton product is now activated and displays the correct subscription. Also, the Norton Management portal now displays the correct product associated with your Mac.
