Message: "Enter Your User Authentication" when connecting to Norton WiFi Privacy VPN

This problem can happen if Norton WiFi Privacy fails to establish a connection with the VPN gateway due to incorrect VPN settings. To fix this problem, uninstall and reinstall the Norton WiFi Privacy app.

STEP 1

Uninstall Norton WiFi Privacy

  1. On the Home screen, tap and hold on the Norton WiFi Privacy icon until it jiggles.

  2. In the top-left corner of the app icon, tap X to delete it.

  3. Tap Delete to confirm.

STEP 2

Reinstall Norton WiFi Privacy

  1. From the Home screen, launch App Store.

  2. In the search box, type the following:

    Norton WiFi Privacy

  3. From the search results, select Norton WiFi Privacy.

  4. Tap Free, and then tap Install App.

    If you see a prompt to authenticate, type your Apple account password.
