Your Norton protection can be installed on a limited number of devices depending on the subscription that you purchased. You have used up your licenses and need to remove a license from an unused device to allow installation on a new device. Follow the instructions to remove a license so that you can install your Norton product on a new device.

STEP 1

Remove license from an unused computer

  1. Sign In to Norton.

    If you have obtained your product from a service provider, use the partner login link and partner challenge code, or 4-digit partner unit ID you received in your welcome mail.

  2. In the My Norton page, hover over the account icon or photo and click My Subscriptions.

  3. Click Help, and then click Manage License.

  4. In the Manage Device page, choose the device that you no longer use, and then click Remove Norton.

  5. Click Next.

  6. In the Remove Norton page, click Yes.

  7. To install Norton on a new device, click Install Now and follow the on-screen instructions.

  8. Follow the on-screen instructions to download and install the product.

If you do not have a license to remove, you can buy more licenses to install on additional computers. In the My Subscription page, select your Norton product, and then click Download. In the Install Norton window, click Upgrade Your Service to buy more licenses.

STEP 2

Download and install your Norton product

  1. Sign In to Norton.

  2. If you are not signed in to Norton already, you will be prompted to sign in. Type in your email address and password for Norton, and click Sign In.

    f you do not have an account, click Create an Account, and then complete the sign-up process.

  3. In the Get Started window, click Download Norton.

  4. Click Agree & Download.

  5. Do one of the following depending on your browser:

    • For Internet Explorer or Microsoft Edge browser: Click Run.

    • For Firefox or Safari: On the top-right corner of the browser, click the Download option to view the downloaded files, and double-click the file that you downloaded.

    • For Chrome: On the bottom-left corner, double-click the file that you downloaded.

  6. If the User Account Control window appears, click Continue.

    Follow the on-screen instructions.
