Error: "The Application was unable to start correctly (0X80000003)" appears when I open any program after updating my Norton product

This error may occur after you upgrade your Norton product and then open some programs like Internet Explorer, Microsoft Outlook, or Microsoft Word. Thi problem is fixed in the latest updates.

Run LiveUpdate

  1. Start your Norton product.

  2. In the main window, click Security, and then click LiveUpdate.

  3. When Norton LiveUpdate is finished, click OK.

  4. Run LiveUpdate until you see the message, "Your Norton product has the latest protection updates."

  5. Exit all the programs, and restart the computer.
