Unable to set Norton Safe Search as your default search provider
To resolve this issue, manually configure your browser to make Norton Safe Search the default search engine.
Depending on your browser, choose one of the following to set Norton Safe Search as your default search provider
Google Chrome
- Open Google Chrome.
- In the top-right corner of the Chrome browser, click the Customize and control Google Chrome
icon.
- Select Settings.
- In the left pane, click Search engine.
- Click Manage search engines and site search
- Click the More Actions
icon. next to Norton Safe Search
- Select Make default

If Norton Safe Search is not listed, click Manage search engines and site search > locate Norton Safe Search > click More actions (⋮) > Make default.
- Norton Safe Search now appears as the default search engine.
Microsoft Edge

Open Microsoft Edge.
- Click the three-dot menu (⋯) in the upper-right corner of the browser.
- Click Settings.
- In the left pane, click Privacy, search, and services
- Scroll down to the Search and connected experiences section
- Click Address bar and search.
- Under Search engine used in address bar, select Norton Safe Search
- If Norton Safe Search is not listed, click Manage search engines > locate Norton Safe Search > click More actions (⋯) > Make default.
Mozilla Firefox
- Open Mozilla Firefox.
- On the top-right corner, click Open Application menu

- Click Settings.
- In the left pane, click Search.
- Under Default Search Engine, select Norton Safe Search from the drop-down list
- Norton Safe Search now appears as the default search engine.
